Gospel-Centered Manhood

It is tough being a guy (Girls, I know it is tough to be a girl too.  But this link is aimed at guys).  We live in a culture where boys are taught that they should either be a star athlete, a high-rolling executive, or some macho looking military dude.  While those jobs are not innately bad or sinful, the reality is that if you are reading this, you are not going to become any of the three jobs listed above.  You are going to (hopefully) grow up, go to college or learn a trade, get a job, get married, have children, buy a house, get a dog, and live in a quiet life (and not necessarily in that order).  This article re-orients us to the fact that our “manhood” is not based by some culturally idolized ideal.  Real manliness comes from realizing that it is through God alone that you can actually “grow up.”
